The perfect snack for when you can’t decide between oats and cake!
I might have mentioned it before, maybe not… or maybe once or twice… or maybe constantly… but I love eating. If I’m not doing it, I’m thinking about doing it and boy is all that thinking about food hungry work! Perfect for that morning cuppa, or that afternoon cuppa, or after dinner… or really whenever you fancy one! Chunks of nuts mixed into sweet chewy dates and nut butter, these bars are heavenly.
It’s no secret that I love snacking (potentially the biggest understatement I’ve made!), and I especially love all those handy energy bars like Bounce Balls and Nakd bars, no refined sugars, no nasties, but a whole lot of yum and perfect for on the go snacking. Unfortunately for me, I’m on a student budget and buying endless snacks becomes rather costly, so I decided to see if I could make my own and ended up with these date and coconut bliss balls, so called because each bite is a mouthful of pure bliss.
I absolutely love biscuits, they’re probably my biggest weakness- if open a packet I can never just have one! Knowing that my love for the delicious crumbly yumminess isn’t likely to subside any time soon, I decided to make some biscuits that I could eat pretty much guilt free.
I’m going to make a confession, I don’t actually like bananas, they terrify me and I’ve no idea why, it’s just one of those weird food aversions that I’ve got. Present me with a raw banana and I’ll run away from you screaming!
