Welcome to Running on Porridge! I’m Miranda and I’m a university student obsessed with running, food and anything in between.
I’ve always been an active person starting out aged 4 as a ballerina but my love for running was somewhat of a happy accident that didn’t happen until about 10 years later when I discovered the track! Moving to university, I found that road running became a respite for me, a way of relaxing and getting some mental space, so I decided to ditch the sprint spikes and welcome the open road! Since graduating, I have rekindled my love of speed, and have laced back up my neglected sprint spikes in an attempt to get my legs moving fast again.
When I’m not running, you’ll find me in the kitchen! I have always loved baking and cooking and as my love of running has transformed my general eating habits, my cooking has evolved too, I love to experiment with giving traditional recipes a healthy twist, but would never turn down something chocolatey!
